Bibliometrics: test Dimensions and Altmetric

As of 6 September, the Library is pleased to offer EPFL community unlimited access to the online content of Dimensions Analytics and Altmetric Explorer for Institutions for a 4-week trial period.

Dimensions Analytics is a bibliometric multidisciplinary database containing research information about scientific research through publications, their citations as well as research data. The licensed version of Dimensions Analytics also provides dataset covering grants, patents, clinical trials, etc.
In addition to the traditional impact indicators of an author's publications (number of citations by other articles, H index, etc.) and those of journals (impact factor, etc.), altmetrics assess the online impact of a publication or piece of information. Find these alternative impact measures on Altmetric Explorer for Institutions.
