Launched in 2013, the data repository Zenodo is an OpenAirePlus (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe) project developed at CERN. After over 10 months development, new Big Data and Open Science oriented features are released.

Faster, with enhanced search functionalities (based on Elasticsearch), Zenodo now enables datasets up to 50 GB to be uploaded (the limit was previously set at 2 GB). Zenodo implements the latest version of the Digital Library Framework Invenio v.3 (not yet released). The storage infrastructure relies on EOS.

For GitHub users, integration is improved to make code and data archiving easier. Connecting to your Git account enables to launch archiving at once.

New features will be available shortly to make links between funders’grants and corresponding data and publications easier. This functionality is already up and running for H2020 funded projects. REST APIs are will be released in the coming months.
