Xinjie joins the lab!

Xinjie Huang, a PhD student at Princeton University, is visiting URBES for a scientific exchange
Xinjie is a 3rd-year Ph.D. candidate working with Prof. Elie Bou-Zeid in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University, USA. His research aims to contribute solutions to mitigate urban heat extremes and enhance scientific understanding of human thermal stress. He is also a receipt of the Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) Fellowship at Princeton University, and a student board member at the Board of Urban Environment, American Meteorology Society (AMS). Before joining Princeton in 2022, he earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor’s degree in building environment and energy engineering from Southeast University (China).
