ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, is taking the planet by storm. It understands complex topics like physics and maths and can generate text for everything from blog posts and song lyrics to university exam papers. Will it change everything? And how will humans keep control of this exponentially advancing technology?

EPFL Assistant Professor Antoine Bosselut, Head of the Natural Language Processing Lab in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences, joined a panel on Swiss Public Television's Infrarouge program to discuss the future of artificial intelligence.
