The WildDrone team, including researchers of the ECEO lab, has mapped the Kenyan reserve of Ol'Pejeta
Flying drones in the wild is challenging, but highly rewarding. As part of the European Training Network "WildDrone", members of the ECEO lab have visited the Ol'Pejeta reserve in Kenya for a joint mapping exercise, involving the whole network and african partners.
After two weeks, we experimented with our new technology for flying, controlling, swarming drones and acquired rich data to train our next generation AI models.
