Wenjing Ji joined HOBEL in December 2023 as a visiting scholar. She is an associate professor of Building Environment and Energy at University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. Wenjing received her PhD degree from Tsinghua University, China, in 2018.

She has been working on air quality in buildings and transportation vehicles, focusing on ventilation and purification technology, pollutant exposure, health risk assessment, and the life cycle assessment of building environmental impacts. Recently, Wenjing published a series of papers on particulate matter pollution in the subway environment. Her research highlights the concentration, composition, source apportionment, and exposure risk characteristics of particulate matter in various spaces of the subway system. Her findings are valuable in developing environmental control measures for future subway systems.
