We are delighted to welcome Mírian Ívens Fagundes and Erick Bermùdez Méndez, two interim postdoctoral researchers!
Mírian is a postdoctoral researcher from the Biotech lab of UNESC (Brazil), where she is investigating the immune response induced in mice by immunization with peptides based on Dengue protein epitopes. She joined us in August and will stay with us for 3 month to learn more about Flavivirus VLPs and cryo-EM.
Erick is a postdoctoral researcher in Karin Loré’s lab at Karolinska Institutet, where he is investigating antibody responses to pneumoviruses (RSV and hMPV) after vaccination or natural infection. Our labs have previously collaborated, and Erick is joining us for 2 months to learn more about EMPEM analysis and cryo-EM.
