Welcome Robin!
Join us in extending a belated welcome to Robin, who officially joined our team as PhD in May 2023!
Robin Studer received his Master's degree in Bio- and Chemical Engineering from ETH Zürich in 2020. He then joined the clean-tech start-up and ETH spin-off UniSieve where he worked as a Research and Development Engineer for almost 2 years. During this time, he mainly focused on membrane science for gas separation applications. He then joined the Lucerne University of Applied Science in the framework of his civil service where he worked at the Competence Center for Thermal Energy Storage.
During his PhD at SMaL, he will be focusing on hydrogel-reinforced salt hydrates for thermal energy storage applications.
