Welcome Pauline as PhD student in the GBF!

Pauline studied Chemistry at the University of Fribourg where she received a Bachelor degree in 2021. She moved to EPFL for her Master studies in Molecular and Biological Chemistry where she graduated in 2023. For her Master thesis, Pauline joined our group to develop DNA biosensors based on polymer-coated glass surfaces. For her PhD, she will be enrolled in the Sinergia project entitled "Multifunctional lipid nanoparticles as carriers for DNA-therapeutics: Treatment of a genetic liver disease" that we will develop in collaboration with the teams of Prof. Jörg Huwyler (University of Basel) and Prof. Johannes Häberle (University Children’s Hospital Zurich).
