Welcome Lester!

Lester earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cebu Institute of Technology – University, Philippines, graduating as Class Valedictorian (Summa Cum Laude). In 2024, he finished his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (Integrated Major in Smart Ocean Mobility) at Seoul National University (SNU) as a Global Korea Scholarship fellow. His graduate research focused on developing an advanced cavitation model for compressible, turbulent, multiphase flows, with applications in hydraulic turbomachineries and marine propulsion systems. He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Advanced Aerospace Technology, SNU, where he investigated the energy partitioning in spark-generated underwater explosions through high-fidelity numerical simulations. Outside of research, Lester enjoys cooking and listening to pop music.
