Welcome Aroa!

Aroa will carry out a 3-month predoctoral stay in our lab in order to complete her international thesis.
Aroa is currently doing her third year as a PhD student in the NEST Lab research group (Neuropathology and Brain Plasticity) at Jaume I University (Castelló, Spain) led by Dr. Esther Castillo-Gómez.
Her PhD thesis is focused on the study of short and long-term effects after early life stressful experiences at cellular, molecular and behavioral level in an animal model with special interest in the amygdala.
