Welcome to our new postdoc at SMaL, Allison Chau!
Allison Chau received her Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from Purdue University in 2019, and her Ph.D. in Materials from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in December 2023. At UCSB, her research focused on characterizing and tuning the tribological and mechanical properties of stimuli-responsive hydrogels.
During her postdoc at SMaL, her research will be focused on designing stimuli-responsive elastomers for soft robotics and sensors.
