WEB: switch to the new version of your people profile

As of August 27, 2025, a new version of your People profile will be available. This version allows you to manage the visibility of your data more precisely. It is based on a modernized platform, offering better performance, enhanced security, as well as improved usability and presentation.
We invite you to log in to people.epfl.ch to validate your data.

Main features

  • Login: now through your EntraID account.
  • Default language: you can complete your profile in a single language, without having to manage translations for each section.

  • Visibility: some elements (photo, postal addresses, positions) can be made visible only to the EPFL community (intranet). These informations will no longer be indexed by search engines nor displayed on public web pages.

  • Displayed first/last names: option to hide certain given names or to request a preferred first name.
  • Structured profiles: standardized sections (bio, CV, etc.) for better readability.
  • Dynamic list of your Infoscience publications.
  • Links to your Mastodon account or other professional and academic networks.

How to get the new version of your profile

The data you previously entered has been automatically tranferred in draft mode. To validate the new version of your profile, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your personal page (people.epfl.ch/firstname.lastname) by clicking on the “Edit profile” button on the right. You will then access the profile editing interface.
  2. Check the display of the new version by selecting “View my profile”.
  3. If the result is fine, confirm by clicking on the red banner “Publish the new version”, or return to the editing interface to make some changes.

Please note that you will always be able to update your profile at any time, even after this validation.
