Once your private email address (external to EPFL) registered in the system, it will be much easier to reset your Gaspar password in case of loss. Thanks to this new feature, you will not need anymore to ask a Gaspar administrator to help recover your password.
Until now, it has always been a challenge to find your Gaspar administrator when you forgot your password. This time is over as you will not need to fear memory loss anymore because reset your password will be just easy peasy, provided that you act right now.
In order to avoid any inconvenience, register your private email address (external to EPFL) in the system. This simple operation will later on allow you to easily reset your Gaspar password yourself.
Be assured that this private email address will only be used in case of password recovery.
How to register your private email address?
Before anything could happen (ideally before losing your password), go to http://gaspar.epfl.ch, log in and click on "Recover lost password by email" in the menu "My password" (see picture below). Then follow the indicated steps.
So, if someday you cannot log into your Gaspar account anymore, you will just need to go to http://gaspar.epfl.ch, click on the link "Lost password" and follow the indicated steps.
