Vending Machines + Sustainable + Healthy + Local

TRY OUR HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCTS

These vending machines contain products that we’ve selected carefully based on a range of criteria: 

–  Local: They are sourced from producers and businesses in our region.
– Sustainable: They meet certain environmental standards.
– High quality: The ingredients and producers are certified with the VAUD+ label, a guarantee of excellence.
– Tasty: This is one of our main criteria – healthy snacks can be delicious, too.
– Affordable: The snacks are fairly and reasonably priced, so that everyone can enjoy them.
– Healthy: We have selected a wide range of healthy, balanced snacks that accommodate all types of diets.

A REGIONAL INITIATIVE

These new vending machines are part of EPFL’s commitment to sustainable catering, in an effort to promote healthy eating and well-being on our campus. 

This initiative was made possible thanks to solid partnerships we have formed with various organizations in our region: 

– Vaud+: Its regional certification system is designed to promote Vaud Canton’s many offerings and Swiss excellence.
– Dallmayr: This vending-machine manufacturer is known for its high-quality products and customer service.

We’re delighted to be supporting our community’s well-being and hope that you’ll all enjoy the snacks available in our new machines!

EPFL RESCO is taking part in this pilot project, which will last eight months (from January to the end of August 2021).

It’s currently being rolled out at the Rolex Learning Center; SG building and Innovation Park will soon follow.
