Following the Innosuisse approval, “employer contributions to family allowances” will once again be recognized as eligible costs for Innosuisse projects and will be reimbursed by the funder.

We are pleased to announce that for the Innosuisse projects, “employer contributions to family allowances” will now be recognized again as eligible costs and will be reimbursed by the funder. This change will be applied to all projects for which the financial report is to be submitted on the Innolink platform, as of 15 July 2024.

While the “employer contribution to AVS administrative costs” remains ineligible, the percentage of the total ineligible part has been significantly decreased, and now is equals to 0.053% of the gross salary.

This new development is a result of productive exchanges between different stakeholders, such as several university services - EPFL included - and Innosuisse over the past months. We are pleased that this positive outcome will provide financial relief to the labs, enabling our PIs to focus even more on the project's success.
