Lauren Cipriano & Naveed Chehrazi

Lauren Cipriano and Naveed Chehrazi, both supervised by Prof. Thomas Weber obtained Faculty Positions in renowned Universities after having obtained their PhDs.

Lauren Cipriano, jointly advised by Professor Thomas Weber and Professor Margaret Brandeau (Stanford University), graduated in June 2013 with a dissertation on “Optimal Information Collection for Dynamic Health Policy.” She is now Assistant Professor of Management Science at the Ivey Business School of the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Naveed Chehrazi, advised by Professor Thomas Weber, obtained his Ph.D. in June 2013 with a dissertation on “Identification and Optimization of Stochastic Systems.” Since this summer he is Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin in the USA.
