Two new SOILies and one summer visitor

We are pleased to welcome Clara Guadalupe Herrera as our summer intern, Damien Roy as our new civiliste, and Anke Herrmann as a visitor!
Clara joined us in the beginning of July for a two month summer internship. She has been busy developing a new experimental protocol for our bomb calorimeter, amongst other things. Damien joined us in mid-July as a civiliste. He has been helping out on various projects and will be with the group until mid-November. Welcome, Clara and Damien, we are very happy to have you!
We also have a visitor at SOIL this month: Anke Herrmann is visiting us from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). She has been busy in the lab measuring soils from a long-term agricultural experiment in Sweden on our new TAM IV isothermal microcalorimeter. Thank you for staying with us, Anke!
