Future multi-TeV linear collider CLIC study demonstrates for the first time the two beam acceleration
An important milestone has been reached at the CERN CLIC Test Facility, where for the first time a probe beam was accelerated in the two beam acceleration scheme of CLIC. The accelerating gradient of 100 MeV/m was achieved with 50 MW of power over an active length of 22 cm.
