Tiny Hotels and Lodgings' competition - for biodiversity

Swiss Tourism is launching a design competition for innovative bee and insect hotels, as well as bird and hedgehog shelters, which take account of species protection criteria.
Open to students, the deadline for entries is 12.12.2024.
For the 2025 spring season, Switzerland Tourism, in collaboration with AbeilleSuisse, is looking for original accommodation projects that meet the needs of the smallest guests. These include hotels for bees and insects, as well as houses for birds and hedgehogs. The nine most exciting ideas will be implemented in establishments selected from among the best in the Swiss hotel industry and incorporated into the communication of the 2025 international hotel campaign.
Entry requirements
Applications are open to artists, designers, architects, students, carpenters and anyone else wishing to offer their creative and technical skills in this area.
Awards
The winning projects will be implemented in nine renowned Swiss hotels, and the Tiny Hotels created will then be incorporated into Switzerland Tourism's international communications. In addition, the nine winners will be offered hotel nights in one of the participating hotels.
