EPFL Alumnus Michael Mark is an Algorithmic Trading Associate at Oryctérope Transalpin in Martigny, where he works on risk management, codes new systems to conduct trades, and develops strategies for capital deployment.
In honor of our 20th anniversary, the College of Management of Technology has initiated a tribute by connecting with our Alumni across our various educational programs to discover and learn about their professional journeys.
Today we’re presenting Michael Mark, who graduated in 2022 from the doctoral program in Management of Technology, in the field of applied mathematics. Although his doctorate was highly demanding, he enjoyed his time at EPFL and successfully balanced his passion for outdoor sports like mountaineering and volleyball with seeking timely support from his PhD supervisor whenever he needed guidance.
