About eighty people participated in the Swiss Space Center’s annual meeting on December 2nd. Here are some pictures of the event.

The Swiss Space Center held its annual meeting on December 2nd 3013. About eighty people - staff, members, EPFL’s direction, and academic and government representatives – came to familiarize themself with the SCC’s latest developments and projects.

Those gathered could listen to speeches by Volker Gass, Director of the SCC, Philippe Gillet, EPFL’s vice-president, Daniel Neuenschwander, responsible of the Swiss Space Office (SSO) and Markus Rothacher, of the SSC Steering Committee.

Three members presented their respective companies: Pascal Jaussi, Swiss Space Systems (S3); Ulrich Langer, RUAG; and Pascal Conrath, Clemessy. At the end of the meeting, Thomas Schildknecht, from the Astronomic Institute of Bern University (AIUB) spoke about space debris and the challenges it poses to the space community and the rest of mankind.
