The SV-running team participated to the Lausanne Marathon '16

BRAVO to the 69 participants of the SV-running team who took part to the 24th Lausanne Marathon on Sunday October 30!
This year about 13'600 runners participated to the Lausanne Marathon: among them, 69 members of our School of Life Sciences, the "SV-running" team. This internationally known event took place on Sunday October 30, under perfect weather conditions (13°, sunny) in Lausanne and its beautiful surrounding region.
On the main race our athletes won the 5th place as a Team, with a total time of 20h07 for the 5 best runners; on the half-race the SV-running team ended 9th, and in the 10k race 10th : an outstanding performance, bravo!
Once more, like every year, our SV runners proved that they aren’t only excellent scientists in the Life sciences, but also fully accomplished athletes. But after all, the best part was the good mood of the team that made possible the great success of this event.
The next Lausanne Marathon will take place on October 22, 2017 : mark your calendar!
