Maureen Coleman, the linchpin of our smooth-running exam schedules, will retire at the end of June after a 26-year-long career at EPFL.

She joined the school on 15 April 1991 to help manage postgrad applications. After a brief stint at the continuing education school in 2005, she returned to the Registrar’s Office to specialize in creating exam schedules and arranging Master’s thesis defenses. For the past six years, Maureen has focused in particular on organizing exams for disabled students, reflecting the importance she has always placed on each and every student who comes through our doors.

I would like to thank Maureen for her valuable contribution to our school’s administration and the diligence with which she carried out all her duties. I wish her a joyful retirement and extend a warm welcome to her successor, Heidi Varrin.
