The new SBB timetable is making a lot of noise

The new timetables, which will be in force from the end of 2024 and valid for ten years, will be very penalizing, according to Vincent Kaufmann, professor of urban sociology and mobility analysis at the EPFL. At a time of climate emergency, the timetable will provide fewer trains to Zurich and they will be slower. As a result, some travelers are likely to switch to air travel.
