Modelling finds that epigenetic plasticity improves synaptic plasticity and memory capacities.
In collaboration with the lab of Claudia Clopath at Imperial College London, the authors find underscores the experimentally derived evidence that memories are not only encoded in synaptic weights, but rather co-encoded in epigenetic changes within the nucleus.
