The EPFL Research Data Support Network is now live!

The first gathering of the EPFL Research Data Support Network (EPFL-RDSN) took place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, bringing together services from across EPFL involved in supporting Research Data.
Initiated by the EPFL Library with the support of a Swissuniversities grant (pgB OS II), this new network connects the various services and experts contributing throughout the research data lifecycle. The event was marked by lively exchanges and the shared ambition to strengthen collaboration around research data at EPFL by those key actors.
With this successful launch, the EPFL-RDSN is now officially active, providing a platform to coordinate efforts, share expertise, and foster synergies between units working around Research Data Management (RDM) and Open Research Data (ORD).
As a next step, the EPFL Library will soon publish a comprehensive mapping of research data support services at EPFL, offering the research community a clear overview of available resources and expertise. In parallel, a dedicated communication channel will be established to facilitate exchanges among the network’s members.
