The 1st Graduate Transport Regulation Seminar (GTRegS) series is designed to bring to the fore outstanding graduate research on transport regulation.

The GTRegS is co-organised by the Florence School of Regulation of the European University Institute and by the Chair of Management of Network Industries of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland).
The seminar takes place on May 24-25 2011 at the FSR to offer a collaborative discussion platform for PhD students who wish to present their research to other academics as well as to other transport regulation stakeholders.

During the seminar, Prof Matthias Finger and Prof Chris Nash will deliver presentations on rail regulation topics and Prof Ken Button and Prof Adrienne Héritier will talk about air transport regulation topics.

Linked event: 2nd European Rail Transport Regulation Forum
The GTRegS is preceded on 23 May by the European Rail Transport Regulation Forum (ERailTRF), now at its second edition. The Forum is a platform for discussion among stakeholders open only on invitation. It has been linked to the Graduate Seminar both to favor participation by interested graduate students and to allow some of the ERailTRF participants to stay on for the GTRegS.
