Thanh-an Michel Pham receives second prize at the ISBI 2021
Thanh-an Michel Pham, doctoral assistant at the School of Engineering’s Biomedical Imaging Laboratory (LIB), won the second prize for Best Paper Award at the ISBI 2021 for his work on "Diffraction Tomography from Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy: Numerical Feasibility”. This research is part of the GlobalBioIm project funded by ERC (European Research Council).
This award highlights the work of Thanh-an Michel Pham, who was already runner-up at the 2019 edition in Venice. The IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is a scientific conference dedicated to mathematical, algorithmic, and computational aspects of biological and biomedical imaging, across all scales of observation. It fosters knowledge transfer among different imaging communities and contributes to an integrative approach to biomedical imaging.
