Lianxin and Annina organize an inspiring two-day lab retreat in picturesque Porrentruy.
From October 22 -23 2024, the CHEMINA team embarked on a memorable two-day retreat in Porrentruy, Switzerland. This retreat was thoughtfully organized to foster scientific collaboration, strengthen team bonds, and enjoy the beauty of nature together.
The team enjoyed engaging team-building activities and participated in a lively discussion about lab values led by Nako. A brainstorming session on unsolved challenges in our field sparked creative ideas and a pizza-making contest brought out everyone's competitive spirit. On the second day, the group embraced the outdoors with a beautiful fall hike and a picnic, providing a balance to the intellectual rigor of the previous day.
The retreat was a fantastic opportunity for the team to connect on a deeper level, enhance collaboration, and recharge in a serene environment. We left feeling inspired, more cohesive, and excited for future endeavors.
