Symposium on Neurodegeneration

An important meeting on commonalties between different neurodegenerative diseases.
Increasing evidence suggests that circuit connectivity may underpin some of the selective
vulnerability of neuronal populations to neurodegenerative disease. In this symposium we
bring together investigators working on several neurodegenerative disorders including
Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s and motor neuron diseases to explore this fast evolving research
area. The meeting will highlight the latest discoveries at the intersection of neuronal networks
with neurodegenerative disease initiation, propagation and progression.
