SwissInspect wins Venture Kick stage-I competition

SwissInspect, a spin-off from the EESD group has won the Venture Kick stage I competition receiving a prize of 10,000 CHF to expand its business activities.
SwissInspect is active in the area of digital twining and inspection of infrastructure and buildings. They are the first Swiss startup bringing together expertise in structural engineering, computer vision, and artificial intelligence, with the vision to build a platform that can be used by civil engineers to design timely maintenance and intervention planning.
The company was also awarded an Innosuisse grant of around 300’000 CHF aimed at developing a platform for traceable digital twins of bridges using artificial intelligence.
SwissInspect is composed by Dr. Amir Rezaie, Bryan Pantoja-Rosero, Prof. Katrin Beyer, Dr. Radhakrishna Achanta, Dr. Mateusz Kozinski, and Dr. Frédéric Dreyer.
