Swiss Education Research Prize 2023 to Paula Cacault

Congratulations to Dr. Paula Cacault, E4S' Head of Operations, who has been awarded the prestigious Swiss Education Research Prize 2023 for her groundbreaking research on distance learning in higher education, along with the research coauthors Jérémy Lucchetti, Michele Pellizzari (Geneva School of Economics and Management - UNIGE) and Christian Hildebrand (University of St.Gallen).
The Swiss Education Research Prize is awarded biennially by the Swiss Confederation and cantonal authorities to recognize research that significantly contributes to the management and steering of the education system.
Their study, titled "Distance Learning in Higher Education: Evidence from a Randomized Experiment" sheds light on the impact of distance learning on attendance and academic performance at universities.
