Sweatshirts for DH Master students
EPFL Digital Humanities Master student spends time between classes creating a sweatshirt for her classmates
One day in early 2022, Hannah Casey came into the Digital Humanities (DH) Section office with an idea: What if students in the Digital Humanities Master program had their own sweatshirt? “That would be really fun,” the section adjunct replied. “Would you like to create them?” And so, the project was born.
Hannah got to work. A friend, also an EPFL student, Éric Bolliger developed a logo. Former DHLAB PhD student Dario Rodigherio kindly allowed her to use his design on the back of the sweatshirt. She conducted a survey of fellow DH students to see which color option they preferred. She contacted a local company working with ethically sourced, organic cotton for a quote.
Thanks to the collective effort of our students, and to Hannah’s amazing energy and initiative, EPFL DH master students and faculty now have their very own sweatshirt!
