Super-Fast Robot Arm Can Catch Whatever You Throw at it

The list of things robots can't do is getting shorter. An ultra-fast robotic arm, developed by researchers at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland, can catch flying objects with complex shapes and trajectories, out of midair in less than five hundredths of a second.
