From June 10 to July 5 2024, Amelia International Conservation Studies offers programs dedicated to exploring the intricacies of historic monuments, paper restoration, traditional painting techniques, and the complexities of restoration issues.
Amelia International Conservation Studies (AICS) is a summer field school offering comprehensive education and training in the disciplines of historic preservation, restoration and conservation.
The program is structured to provide a unique platform for students to gain exceptional practical and theoretical knowledge through an array of lectures, activities, fieldwork, workshops and field trips.
Students are presented with an opportunity to develop their skills in art restoration and conservation, under the guidance of skilled industry professionals, while working on real conservation projects.
