Study Week at the GBF!

Last week, the GBF participated in the 2024 edition of the Study Week in Chemistry and Materials Science jointly organized by EPFL and the Schweizer Jugend Forscht.
We were very pleased to welcome two highly motivated high school students - Jasmine Kofmel and Emily Shen - for a week of immersion in our research activities. Under the supervision of Alessandra Spada, they discovered our project dedicated to the design and engineering of theranostic nanoparticles for cancer bioimaging and controlled drug release.
It is the third time that the GBF participates in this initiative and we hope that the time spent in our lab will motivate Jasmine and Emily to pursue higher scientific studies and to join EPFL in the future.
