Strommast wird zum Bahnhofdach

The Structural Xploration Lab's work on the reuse of structural components is featured in the Handelszeitung special issue on Steel, November 15th 2018. The article interviews Prof. Corentin Fivet and Joseph Desruelle on a case study performed during his master thesis. Using Jan Brütting's algorithms, bars are selected from obsolete eletric pylons and arranged to form a high-performance roof structure for a train station.
