“Spatial Multi-Omics: Use in biology and medicine” workshop

This workshop is co-organized by Jessica Sordet-Dessimoz (PTH, EPFL-SV) together with Stéphanie Tissot (CHUV-CTE and LICR), Susan Gasser (ISREC Foundation) and Johanna Joyce (UNIL and LICR). It will take place on Wednesday, 18 January 2023 in the Agora Cancer Research Center, Lausanne.
Spatially resolved transcriptomics and multiplexing of antibodies allow detection of mRNAs and/or proteins at a single cell level in the context of tissue environment. This spatial context provides new insight into our understanding of mechanisms governing functions of healthy and disease affected tissues. The objective of this workshop will be to discuss recent advances in this field and also to foster discussions among scientists and participating industrial partners.
