On the occasion of the disassembly of the exhibition "48 Swiss authors: from Conrad Gessner (1516) to Franz Schüle (1860)", the EPFL library is pleased to invite you to the meeting: "Some swiss mathematicians over three centuries".
Everyone is welcome, free admission. Meeting in french.
Here is a good opportunity to learn more on the Swiss mathematicians who have contributed to improve their discipline thanks to their work. This conference is an opportunity to discover or rediscover some swiss mathematicians.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 6.15 pm, room MA11. The speakers will be Jacques Sesiano and Nicolas Monod, professors at EPFL.
A cocktail will follow, offered by the EPFL library, near the ancient books area (Rolex learning center).
