High Power Medium Frequency Transformers for MW-level Conversion Systems
Power Electronics Laboratory has entered into a direct research collaboration with HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) from the Republic of Korea on a research topic related to solid-state transformer technologies for marine MVDC applications. We will provide research support in the design and optimization of high-power, medium-voltage isolated, medium-frequency transformers for multi-MW-level conversion systems for MVDC ships. We are looking forward to an interesting and fruitful collaboration.
