As the SNSF looks to increase its support for international research, its gaze turns toward North America: new opportunities with the USA and with Canada have just been released.
SNSF Lead Agency Projects: now also possible with the USA
The SNSF and US NSF will jointly support collaborative research projects. Find more details in the toolkit. Expression of Interest deadline: 17 February 2023 (for 3 April SNSF deadline).
SNSF: Complementary funding of Swiss and Canadian researchers
Joint funding of natural science and engineering projects together with Canada’s NSERC. Funding for scientific exchanges is also available. Find more details in the toolkit.
International research initiative on climate change
The challenges created by climate change can only be adequately addressed through international cooperation. The SNSF is acting on this and joining a Canadian-led call. Submission deadline: 12 September 2023.
