Dusan Licina (HOBEL) was invited to give a keynote talk at the SIMUREX scientific school held at INES and Aussois, France, in October 2018. The SIMUREX addresses SIMUlation and EXperimentation of the energy performance of buildings and role of humans in building sciences.
Dusan Licina presented ongoing research projects at his laboratory (HOBEL) related to air quality in the built environment. In his lecture, Dusan reviewed state-of-the-art empirical knowledge on the topic of air quality in the built environment and introduced three major challenges in indoor air quality management, including characterization of sources of air pollution in buildings, reliable human exposure assessment, and development of efficient exposure control technologies.
