Shedding light on light - IYL2015

On the occasion of the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies, EPFL organises workshops for kids and conferences for youngsters and adults.
The workshops for youngsters aged 7 to 13 will take place from 10:00 to 15:15 the 7th of November (Saturday). Registration is required.
Adults are invited in the afternoon for the conferences: at 13:30 on topics related to light such as arts, theology, health and energy and at 15:30 on Northern Lights. Entrance is free, no registration required.

Organized by the Science Outreach Department under the umbrella of a committee composed of professors at EPFL (Benoît Deveaud, Nicolas Grandjean, Olivier Martin and Minh Quang Tran-Président), Dr Daniele Mari and representatives of MediaCom and the school of Basic Sciences (BS). The school of BS also contritutes financially to the event.
