SGEB prize to Thibaud Maillard for his Master's project at EESD

Congratulations to Thibaud Maillard for the prize from the Swiss Society for Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics for his Master's Project!
At the 2022 Magistrale, Thibaud Maillard received the Swiss Society for Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics 2022 prize for his master thesis "Seismic assessment of a historical masonry building and proposals for retrofitting methods - Case study of the parish house in Selah". The prize is awarded yearly to outstanding Master’s projects carried out in the field of earthquake engineering or structural dynamics.
Thibaud Maillard carried out his Master's project at EESD lab under the direction of Prof. Katrin Beyer, Dr. Savvas Saloustros and PhD candidate Igor Tomic. During his Master's project, Thibaud had the opportunity to visit the parish house in the city of Selah in Croatia, hit by the 2020 earthquake, where he gathered material and met with Martina Vujasinović who is the engineer in charge of the restoration and retrofit project. Many congratulations to Thibaud for his excellent MSc project and for contributing to the post-earthquake assessment of the building!
