Seven SNSF Sinergia projects awarded to EPFL researchers

In November 2022, researchers submitted 74 project proposals to the Sinergia programme. Out of 19 awarded proposals, EPFL is involved in 7 projects; more specifically in 4 projects as a responsible institution and in 3 projects as a partnering institution.

The SNSF Sinergia programme supports joint projects of two to four scientists from different disciplines whose aim is to conduct ground-breaking research. The SNSF Scientific Board approved the following EPFL affiliated projects:

Funding

On 17 April 2023, researchers were able to submit applications for Sinergia grants for the last time. In June 2023, the SNSF will incorporate the Sinergia programme into project funding, its largest funding scheme.
