Seven accredited employment agencies

Following a public invitation to tender, EPFL has entered into contracts with seven employment agencies and established an operational framework for collaboration for the period 2026–2031.
Communication with the approved agencies is now centralized within the Vice Presidency for Human Development through the Employee Experience Partners (PEXP) to ensure optimal coordination with the agencies and provide seamless support to all stakeholders, while maintaining cost control.
The use of these agencies is limited to certain situations and must go exclusively through the SuccessFactors recruitment platform.
The principle of internal priority and direct sourcing (job postings, networks) is applied. The use of an agency is evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Proven shortage: tight labor market / rare skills (non-exhaustive list: niche profiles, specialized engineering, highly specific administrative roles)
- Operational urgency: positions with a direct impact on the smooth running of our operations for which no quick internal solution is available
- Lack of qualified candidates: no qualified applications received after 4 weeks of standard posting
See the list of agencies and details on the process to follow under “Collaboration with Recruitment Agencies” in the “Recruitment” section of the Managers’ Toolkit on the People Administration intranet.
