Dusan Licina (HOBEL) was invited to give a visiting lecture to research students of Yonsei University and Kookmin University in Seoul, both in August 2019.

To students of Yonsei University, Dusan Licina shared the most recent insights on the topic of indoor environmental quality and occupant satisfaction in green certified buildings. In this talk, Dr. Licina gave an overview of the effectiveness of current green buildings in improving occupant satisfaction and IEQ, with a special emphasis to indoor air quality and thermal comfort. The remaining challenges that need to be accomplished toward emphasizing human performance and experience within the broader context of sustainability goals have also been discussed summarized.

At Kookmin University, Dusan presented presented an overview of a fundamental knowledge of an emerging area - indoor air quality - how well we can engineer it in buildings. The lecture also included an overview of indoor air pollutant transmission and ventilation strategies and airflow distribution strategies tuned to ensure the highest level of indoor air quality.
