Seminar on Pedagogical Engineering and Digital Education

Digital education in Africa requires to be accompanied by updated teaching methods and quality digital resources that bring appropriate and efficient solutions to the problems universities face in the continent.
To reflect on these challenges, EPFL in coordination with partner universities committed to supporting digital education advancement in Africa is organizing a Seminar on Pedagogical Engineering and Digital Education:
Dates: April 15-17, 2019
Venue: Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Ben Guerir, Morocco
The Seminar aims to:
- Raise awareness and share experiences/achievements of the Pedagogical Engineering project conducted by EPFL in 2018 in 3 African institutions.
- Define the best implementation practices of digital education in Africa, considering the views from teaching staff, institutions and students.
- Prepare future actions by identifying the projects that share the aim to contribute to digital education in Africa
- Explore opportunities for involvement in research and technology transfer for digital education.
