Selectivity control during carboxylic acid upgrading to olefins.

Our paper on the selectivity control during tandem hydrogenation/dehydration of carboxylic acids to olefins was published in ACS Catalysis! Jher Hau, Florent, Robert and Bartosz studied the substrate-catalyst interactions of carboxylic acids that prevented overhydrogenation of olefins. These findings could be applied to control the selectivity in biomass upgrading reactions in order to preserve double bond functionalities.
